Ingredients of Yee Sang

  1. It’s of Dressing.
  2. You need 1 bottle of Asam Plum Sauce.
  3. It’s 1 bottle of orange marmalade.
  4. Prepare of Sugar to taste.
  5. Prepare of Salt to tase.
  6. You need of Water to adjust consistency.
  7. You need of Vegetables (sliced into thin strips).
  8. You need 1 of Japanese cucumber.
  9. Prepare 1 of green, red, and orange bell pepper.
  10. Prepare 1 of turnip.
  11. It’s 1 of carrot.
  12. It’s 1/2 of purple cabbage.
  13. Prepare of Pomelo.
  14. It’s 2 of Mandarin oranges.
  15. It’s 1 of small beetroot.
  16. It’s of Pickled leeks.
  17. Prepare of Crushed peanuts.
  18. Prepare of Sesame seeds.
  19. Prepare slices of Salmon.

Yee Sang instructions

  1. Mix plum sauce and orange marmalade in a pot and let it simmer, based on 1:1 ratio. Add salt and sugar to taste. Once taste is ok, turn off heat and set aside..
  2. Roast peanuts in small pan/wok. Crush in a pestle mortar, set aside..
  3. Thin slice into strips all of the above vegetables..
  4. Once the vegetables are sliced, arrange them into desired pattern on a plate..
  5. Drizzle generous helpings of the dressing, then sprinkle crushed peanuts and sesame seeds on top. Add salmon slices if you want. Food is ready to be served!.
